AlifBee has launched Quranic Arabic, a new curriculum that helps learners connect the language of the Quran with everyday communication and conduct.
What does Quranic Arabic offer Quran Learners?
Children growing up outside Arabic-speaking environments often study Quran recitation, Arabic, and Islamic values separately. Quranic Arabic brings these strands into one gradual learning path.
Each lesson begins with a Quranic or faith-based meaning tied to a familiar situation, then introduces the Arabic learners’ need to understand, discuss, and apply those ideas in everyday life.
A lesson on greetings, for example, moves beyond memorizing as-salamu alaykum. Learners explore the Quranic guidance behind greeting others, practice when and how to use the expression, and connect it with the idea of spreading peace at home, in class, at the mosque, and with friends.
Across nine progressive levels, from A1 to A9, the curriculum integrates:
- communicative Arabic,
- Quranic learning,
- reading and writing,
- functional grammar,
- Islamic values,
- identity,
- social and life skills.
It was designed for learners in weekend schools, Islamic centers, and communities where Arabic is not the main language.
